The author studies the behaviour of entrepreneurs in the cultural and social context of Bulgaria today. Being an entrepreneur is a difficult position which generates feelings of anxiety, of being threatened, internal and cultural conflicts. For lack of an established social class that would propose norms of behaviour, entrepreneurs have to construct their own behavioural patterns and an appropriate social and cultural identity.
