The website presents the testimonies of twenty survivors of the 1915 Armenian genocide. With the virtual help of victims, the Internet user is invited to visit historic Armenia and to relive the traumatic memory. Such an experience raises questions on the construction, conservation, and transmission of memory through websites. overpasses its role as a website for the conservation of memories; it induces the Internet user to set down commemorative gestures which in return transform the virtual environment into a place of memory.
