A Rare Product: Ethnology of Corsica

Whereas after the Second War Mediterranean countries became the object of new research of the Anglo-Saxon anthropology, whereas Italian researchers invent Mezzogiorno demo-ethno-anthropology, Corsica seems to take a restricted part in this expansion of Mediterranean ethnology. What are the reasons that caused this situation ? Most probably there are many, but they can precisely reveal something of the Island’s socio-cultural anthropology.
