Intangible Heritage in Museum Exhibits

This article reveals the basic distinctions between European museums and North American. The North American museums and especially Quebec museums are characterized by a focus on development in narrative history and culture. We try to identify what characterizes the objects of museum collections in North American society and to explore the concept of “musealias” so as to understand the links between tangible and intangible dimensions of objects.
