Calendar Holidays in Slovenia during and after Socialism

Even though Slovenian ethnology was oriented towards the research of contemporaneity at least since the 60’s of the last century the researchers of calendrical festivities were until recently mostly studying pre-socialist traditions. Since the turn of the century some studies of calendrical festivities during socialism and after were also conducted and sometimes the focus of research shifted from mostly culturally and historically comparative perspective to the interest for power-related issues.
