Christian drama or how to speak about politics in Syria

The Syrian revolution has introduced a radical change in the ethnographic field, while underlining the sociological difficulty of grasping the processes of social and political reconstruction. By reading the biographies of members of a Christian family belonging to three different generations, this article aims at highlighting how historical and political changes that affect a country are experienced by people on a daily basis and to identify how political positions are shaped within a family.
