Patrick Williams—A story of friendship with Auvergne’s Manouche community

Is Nous, on n’en parle pas now an orphaned book? What happens to a “fieldwork” once the ethnologist passes away? The author of this article wished to pay tribute to Patrick Williams by meeting his Manouche friends. This text reflects on the anthropologist’s legacy and wonders whether the dead are really not spoken of.
