By Naila Ceribašić
English

The author examines the flow of economic, social and symbolic capital within Croatian traditional Music of yesterday and today. While studying the post-socialist period, the author draws attention to the increasingly close link between a tendency to more closely link musical activities to cultural capital than to economic capital. She concludes that the classical scientific study of 'politics and poetics' must be completed by a study of 'economy' since it is the third essential aspect of musical culture.
