Reimagining museography beyond heritagization frameworks

One of the ways in which heritage value exists is through museographic practices. This article draws on two co-curated exhibitions to explore the concept of museology as “unmaking heritage,” which engages with resistance experiences—specifically two emblematic workers’ strikes in France in the 1970s—and examines how these could be reframed within a heritage framework to empower future political and social actions.
